Piper sylvaticum is a wonderful looking vining plant from the Himalayas, They are extremely hard to find but we have secured a small group of plants that have exquisite foilage and growth to rival any plant.
Piper sylvaticum grow wild in the subtropical rainforests of sub-Himalayan semi-evergreen forest in the Manas National Park of northwestern Assam, where the plant is happy beneath the forest canopy.
Coveted for its foliage and variegation it will grows happily in shade or indirect sun and will cope with some neglect. If you crave the jungle look, or simply want stunning foliage in your home this is a superb choice of plant.
In Tibet the mashed leaves are use as an anti-inflammatory by the Monpa people.
