You don’t often see Kalanchoe pumila (or flower dust plant) for sale but it's a real gem and another beautiful plant from Central and south-west Madagascar, a country full of unusual plants.
 
A plant with an abundance of gorgeous delicate silver leaves, it grows in the arid landscape of dry plateaus and scrub forest.  Each October  Kalanchoe pumila burst into flower producing hundreds of small pink flowers. 
 
To thrive they need good light and only the very occasional watering, these plants like to be kept dry, treat it like a cactus and you won't go far wrong. We are selling nice large plants that be grown as hanging or pot plants.

Where should I put this plant?
Likes a bright indirect light, it will also enjoy a sunny spot. The brighter the light the more colour in the plant. 
 
How should I water this plant?
Water regularly during the active growing season. No water should ever be allowed to stand around the roots. Keep completely dry in winter.
 
Should I feed this plant?
Feed once a month in spring and summer with a liquid plant food. Why not try our own vegan, organic plant food?
