We love Ficus Golden King for its wonderfully graceful, variegated foliage and because it’s so easy to look after.
 
From the large Fig family, ficus golden king quite different looks from other better known figs such as the Fiddle Leaf Figs.  It has smaller, paler green leaves bordered with creamy gold - they are delicate and look truly ethereal, like a magic tree from a fairytale!

This lovely houseplant is fairly easy going, so suitable for beginners.
 
Where should I put it?
Ficus Golden King likes bright light, but not direct sun.
 
How should I water it?
During Ficus Golden King care, you need to water only when the plant starts to dry out - so when the top couple of inches of soil are dry. Allow water to drain freely and never leave sitting in water as this can cause root rot.
 
Is it suitable if I have pets?
No, unfortunately it isn’t great if you have pets, the leaves can be toxic if nibbled.
 
Should I feed it?
For proper Ficus Golden King care, feed once a month in spring and summer - we recommend our own vegan, organic plant food!
 
What size is this plant?
