Some Common Names: Snake Plant, mother-in-law's tongue, viper's bowstring hemp.

Sansevieria a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. It is most commonly known as the Snake Plant, mother-in-law's tongue, and viper's bowstring hemp, among other names. Sansevieria come in many shapes and sizes to suit any room and budget.

This is a really easy plant to look after as Snake Plants thrive from neglect. You will only need to water infrequently and be sure to let the soil dry out regularly to keep your plant in great health

We like this plant for its beautiful architectural leaves and form, it makes a beautiful contrast to stunning tropicals but is much safer than spiky cactus.

General Care
