We love this amazing Aspidistra for it’s showbiz style!

The wonderful Aspidistra Elatior Asahi, otherwise known as the Lime striped Cast Iron plant, is part of the family of elegant Aspidistras that have graced sitting rooms and dining rooms in homes since Victorian times.  They have always been know for graceful style and they won’t fail to provide that!

With tall leaves that are ‘air brushed’ with lime coloured variegation from half way up the leaf to the white tip, these aspidistra lilies are absolutely stunning and a beautiful addition to any home.

At home gracing the covers of magazines, they will leave you in awe of their beauty.  You can just imagine them in the rainforest, where they can survive in very inhospitable conditions, making their home in rough, often stony ground.

Aspidistra plants are very good at coping with dry conditions but they do need enough room for their roots to spread out, so need to be placed in a large pot. If the roots do not have enough room the wonderful variegation may not be seen.

If you’re really careful and give this plant the care it needs then you may be rewarded with Aspidistra flowers!

Aspidistra makes a fantastic indoor plant gift. We’ll make it even more special by including a free, handwritten card with your order. All you have to do is note your message at the basket stage of delivery and we’ll take care of it for you. No giveaway paperwork either!
