Aphelandra Squarrosa is a plant species in the family Acanthaceae, which is native to Brazil. In its native range, it grows on shady forest floors and its ability to cope with shade makes it an ideal houseplant. These plants like humidity so make an ideal bathroom plant. Sometime these plants will drop leaves, it's normal, just cut back and watch it grow again - it's a real survivor. We are selling large plants, with very nice variegation.
